Fountain Gate

Fountain Gate

A city gate in the southeast sector of Jerusalem opening either to Gihon or to Enrogel spring (Neh 2:14; Neh 3:15; Neh 12:47). It was repaired by Nehemiah. It may be identical to the “gate between the two walls” (2Kgs 25:4).
