Uzal (Yoo´zuhl)

A son of Joktan (Gen 10:27; 1Chr 1:21) and a clan name whose association with other names and locations south of Moab suggests an Arabian location. In (Ezek 27:17) the association of Uzal with other Arabian locations suggests modern San‘a, in the southwest corner of the peninsula about seventy miles west of Marib.
